Bio:
Gerald Shurley, is the Principal Architect and founder of Shurley Design Studio, LLC. He has 25 years of experience in the field of architecture, and has worked on a wide variety of project types from small residential additions to some of the largest projects in the Las Vegas, Nevada, area including: Fontainebleau, Luxor, Golden Nugget, MGM Grand, Caesar's Palace, and The Venetian.

Gerald's love for design started as young as three years of age when he would draw and create forms out of legos. He began studying architecture at the age of 16 while attending High School in Italy. His school provided a Technical Preparation Course for those students wanting to attend college with an interest in Architecture/Engineering.

After High School he began his architecture career at the age of 18 working as a draftsman for William Morris Architects in Augusta, Kansas. Since that time he has worked for a number of award-winning firms.

In February of 2016, Gerald suddenly lost a relative to cancer. The loss showed him that life is too short to not chase your dreams, and prompted the start of the company to practice his vision of design.
